Gemel GA1 AIS device Approved by BTK!

Automatic Identification System (AIS) Class-B device received a “Certificate of Conformity” by the Ministry of Transport. Under BTK approval, it has been added to the list of devices that can be processed.

Gemel, with its own software, succeeded in producing the “Automatic Identification System (AIS) Class B device” with the most ideal deviation rates of the industry in the world. With this system, which is 100 percent domestically produced, Gemel became the first company to do this in Turkey.

It was approved by the Ministry of Transport within the scope of the “Communiqué on the Equipping and Characteristics of Ships” and officially registered. With this success, the company has made its mark in the maritime industry on an international scale after the UK-based SRT Marine Systems.

Gemel Group’un ürettiği GA1 AIS, Uluslararası Denizcilik Örgütü (IMO)’nün belirlediği SOLAS kuralları gereği, 300 GRT ve daha büyük gemilerde ve tüm yolcu taşıyan ticari gemilerde bulundurulması zorunlu bir sistem.

The GA1 AIS, produced by Gemel Group, is a mandatory system for ships of 300 GRT and larger and all commercial ships carrying passengers, in accordance with the SOLAS rules set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

Gemel GA1 AIS Class-B CS Cihazı 2 adet bağımsız alıcı 1 adet DSC zaman paylaşımlı alıcı bulunduruyor. Alıcı hassasiyetli < -110 dBm boyutunda. VHM-FM AIS 87B (161.975 MHz), AIS 88B (162.025 MHz), 156.025 DSC frekanslarında çalışıyor. Rutinde 2W olan taşıyıcı frekans çıkış  gücü acil durumlarda 12.5 W’a kadar çıkabiliyor. Ve daha üst düzey diğer teknik donanımları elinde bulunduruyor.

Gemel GA1 AIS Class-B CS Device has 2 independent receivers and 1 DSC time-shared receiver. Receiver sensitivity < -110 dBm in size. VHM-FM operates at AIS 87B (161.975 MHz), AIS 88B (162.025 MHz), 156.025 DSC frequencies. The carrier frequency output power, which is 2W in the routine, can go up to 12.5W in emergency situations. And it holds other higher-level technical equipment.
